I'll second Nate's note of appreciation - to the organizers of our 50th reunion, and especially to Eunice for all her efforts to keep us connected the past few years. Thanks!

I haven't been to many reunions since 1973, so I'm looking forward to seeing all of you soon!

Our classmate, Don Rosenthal has told us that his entire family has lost everything in the LaHaina wildfires. There will be a donation jar at the registration table if you would like to donate to help them.

DON ROSENTHAL's family is living day by day as a result of the wildfires on Maui. They resided in LaHaina & lost everything they owned. Thankfully no one was injured, but they need our help. So in keeping with the tradition of caring for our own, please consider a donation to Don's family. There will be a donation jar on the registration table at the reunion.

Thanks, in advance!

Does anybody know what happened to Ken Bullis after high school?  He had one of the highest high school IQ ratings and was teaching the Math and Science teachers how to program the large computer used for Math and Science. department. I think he knew Brain Hatfield, but he is not signed up on this site.

Ken is out in silicone valley. He is a software engineerfor Fungible Inc.  I believe Fungible was recently purchased my Microsoft. I contacted him last year and he was doing exactly what I excpected. Deep in the weeds data center work.

I am wondering what Brian Hatfield is up to?  He and I shared a private pilot ground school class together at the U of M freshman year. We had a lot of laugh's.

Miss Lucy Peltier (Cedarleaf-McLemore)

        From Lucy Peltier (Cedarleaf-McLemore)

Greetings to my friends and classmates of the White Bear High School Class of 1973.

I was so excited to receive the invitation and the opportunity to enjoy reconnecting with our incredible group of White Bear HS ’73 grads.  Regrettably, I will be unable to attend the 50th Reunion, since I just recently returned to my home in California from Minnesota, after a visit to the Rochester Mayo Clinic.

Now, the search is on for a kidney donor, as my kidneys have failed.  Because I am not a good candidate for dialysis, pre-empted transplant (live kidney donor transplant) is the best and only option for me.  I am reaching out to anyone who may be interested, or know of someone who is interested, in being a kidney donor. It’s a difficult ask, but with my current situation, I feel I can’t be afraid to ask the question, even though it’s quite challenging for me to do so.

Above all, I did want to tell you that I’ve always taken an extreme amount of pride in being able to say I am a Minnesota girl and I love being part of our class and growing up in our wonderful “All American City” of White Bear Lake!  Enjoy the Reunion and have a great time reminiscing and creating more memories!

I will share your request . Want you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you. I have many very fond memories of you. Between you and Shirley Larkin I have always been a very confident dancer. Confident , not necessarily talented 🥰

I am disappointed that I won't be attending our 50th reunion. I haven't attended ones in the past and this one I was looking forward too. Unfortunately circumstances that have occurred prevents me from attending. I go back and forth from Lahaina and Portland these days since retirement. You may have seen pictures and videos of the destruction caused by the wild fires but to actually see it first hand is devasting. I got married and raised my family there and it was a great place to do that. My entire family lost everything and are a little scattered around the rest of the island but they are safe and grateful to God for that. Lahaina is alot like WBL, a small town feel and people genially care for each other. Growing up in White Bear and being a part of the class of 73, I would not change that for the world. It is the greatest place to be from. Wish you all a great time and try to behave! Love from your fellow classmate.

I've loved Lahaina whenever I've been lucky enough to travel there. The utter devastation breaks my heart. I'm glad your family is OK, Don, but so sorry you have to go through this.

Our Dear classmates Don & Lucy, Tom & I hearts is sadden of your news. We have moved to ND. and very small town of 191 people. And I know what a small town feel is like neighbor helping neighbor. WBL just got to big for us but we don't forget our roots.Lucy, my sister gave the greatest gift of one of her kidneys to my mom. She lived many years with my sister kidney. I hope a match is out there for you. I am amazed after 50 yrs. with todays technology there are ways to communicate to our classmates with the different path we all took. Thanks to our student council keeping it together and the volenteers to make this happen. Moving forward we all pray there is light at the end of the tunnel for Don & Lucy (our classmates). Sincerely Your classmates, Arlene Erickson Geisthardt & Tom Geisthardt

The tour of the High School was just amazing. Those lucky, lucky students have a fabulous learning environment. I'm still swooning over the Home Ec (FACS) kitchens!

Hi to all and sorry I was not able to attend the 50th reunion.  My wife had her second knee replaced on Friday and needed assistance.  Hope you all had fun!  Would have liked to have seen you all again.
