This is so sad to hear! Patrick's locker was always next to mine so I saw him often in hs. We had become fb friends as a result and I enjoyed seeing his frequent posts. He will be missed!
As Jennie said, I really liked Pat - how could anyone not? If John Hughes ever had made one of his "coming of age" movies of our class, Pat would have been in it - the funny guy with the Obi Wan wisdom when the chips were down - he's part of the good memories....RIP...
I didn't know Pat very well, I didn't interact with him too much. But I do remember him as sort of a class clown, and I don't mean that to be a harsh assessment. He was a funny guy.
Happy Birthday, Patrick! You would have been 62 today. There are so many memories I have of you that I couldn't fit them all in if I tried. I do remember when that guy wanted to fight me in High school. But he was an idiot. I didn't remember it until you mentioned it. What I do remember is how much you'll be missed by everyone. You put a different spin on life and that is the way it's supposed to be. Say hi to Hellum for me. I'll see you soon enough.
